About Me

I am looking to create worlds in which people forget themselves and the limitations they experience in mundane life. After undergoing brain surgery in 2018, I became aware of how little Western medicine knows what makes up subjective experience – despite considerable advances in treating the brain as an object. Reflecting on this, I created my art piece: a kaleidoscope video installation, connecting three dimensional fractals with MRI scans of my own brain. Since then, I was interested in creating worlds into the spectator can dive and that express profound question in simple visual language.
